Contest Rules for "Luxembourg-city in Bloom"

The following mandatory conditions govern participation in the "Luxembourg-city in Bloom" contest (hereinafter "contest") organized by the Union Commerciale de la Ville de Luxembourg (hereinafter "UCVL"), headquartered at 1, rue Philippe II, L-2340 Luxembourg.

Article 1 – Participation and Procedure

1. The prize is a €200 shopping voucher, redeemable at UCVL member merchants listed on the shopping map.
2. Participation is open to all individuals over 18 years old residing in the Greater Region (Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Lorraine, Wallonia, Rhineland-Palatinate, Saarland). In case of doubt, participants must provide proof of age and residence.
3. All participant information must be accurate. Otherwise, UCVL reserves the right to exclude the participant from the contest. Participants are solely responsible for the accuracy of the data provided.
4. Only one entry per person is allowed.
5. UCVL staff members and their family members are not eligible to participate.
6. The contest will take place on the website www.concours-cityshopping.lu from May 7 to May 31, 2025.
7. Participation involves:
   a. Scanning the "Luxembourg-city in Bloom" QR code displayed on the windows of participating merchants or directly visiting www.concours-cityshopping.lu,
   b. Voting for your favorite window display,
   c. Confirming your vote via a confirmation email.
8. The winner will be drawn from all participants who have confirmed their vote by email.
9. The winner will be announced on June 4, 2025, on our social media channels (Facebook and Instagram).
10. The winner will be contacted via the email address provided in the voting form. They must contact UCVL using the contact details provided in this email.
11. No messages will be sent to other participants.

Article 2 – Refusal of Registration

UCVL may refuse a registration without providing a reason. There is fundamentally no right to participate. Furthermore, UCVL reserves the right to exclude already accepted participants from the contest at any time.

Article 3 – Personal Data

1. By participating in the contest, each participant agrees that the personal data they have provided and which are necessary for participation will be collected, stored, and used by UCVL to notify winners during the contest period.
2. The winner agrees that their profile name may be mentioned on the Instagram page https://www.instagram.com/cityshoppingluxembourg/ and the Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/cityshoppingluxembourg.
3. Participants have the right to access and rectify their personal data free of charge. They also have the right to deletion, noting that exercising this right during the contest period will be considered a withdrawal from the contest. Such requests must be made in writing to the Union Commerciale de la Ville de Luxembourg, accompanied by a copy of the identity card, countersigned by the participant.
4. Participants are free to withdraw their consent to the storage and processing of their personal data by sending an email to info@cityshopping.lu, thereby ending their participation in the contest.
5. Personal data will be destroyed at the end of the contest.

Article 5 – Liability Limitation of Cityshopping Luxembourg

Participation in this contest implies full and unconditional acceptance of these rules.

These rules are governed by Luxembourg law. All provisions of these rules constitute the law between the Union Commerciale de la Ville de Luxembourg and the contest participants. The courts of the City of Luxembourg in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any claims or disputes that cannot be resolved amicably.
